Certainly not, the word cheap is defined in American slang as simply meaning a product that is not very expensive and for the most part not well made or produced. We at ACE are not cheap, we are cost effective movers and will beat any price in the US for loads that weigh 5,000 pounds or more. How can we do this you may ask and the answer is simple. There is no longer any bureaucratic agencies regulating the interstate household goods transporters. What this means is that we can move you from one destination to another anywhere in the US as long as you are crossing state lines at some point. By one-waying moving vehicles to the city you are moving to and then flying back to Portland we are able to cut the cost of your move sometimes in half.

What about INSURANCE??? This is the big question that most all customers are concerned about and well they should be. ACE NW by Oregon State law must carry a minimum of $250,000.00 in policies for just the right to handle your goods. Your own homeowners insurance should also have some sort of coverage. While your goods are in transport you are covered by the rental companies policies for whatever level you wish. The price of the insurance option you choose is included in the price. With all that said, we simply calculate the cost of the truck, fuel, drive time, road expenses, labor on both ends of the move, and the one way flight home, padding on a little for our advertising, insurance, office overhead, etc. and you get a firm price with an ironclad contract guaranteeing you delivery on time or entitlement to liquidated damages to the tune of $100.00 per day.
